About Us
The Studio
City Center Dance is located at 236 East Post Road, right in the heart of White Plains! We offer dance for children and adults in a variety of genres including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop N' Lock, Modern, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Creative Movement and more. We also host Birthday Parties for children and a variety of special events, workshops and performances both in the community and our state-of-the-art facility (please see The School). As a matter of fact, your children may have already been in one of our many school programs if they attend George Washington, Mamaroneck Avenue, Preston, Parsons, Central, Chatsworth, or Murray Avenue elementary schools. Or in our middle and high school programs in White Plains, Harrison, Blind Brook, Fox Lane, Eastchester, and Briarcliff.

City Center Dance has four full size professional studios, two with marly floors and two with oak. Each studio has sprung floors, viewing windows, wall mounted barres, and floor to ceiling mirrors. We also have separate dressing room and restroom facilities and a large lobby area. We are easily accessible from the major highways, and are located at street level for easy drop-off and pick-up. There is street parking available and two municipal parking lots directly across the street.

Now almost six years old, City Center Dance has grown into one of the top dance facilities in Westchester County. Professionalism, quality instruction and dedication to our students are our top priorities. Whether you are in it because you live it or love it, all students will learn the technique, terminology, placement, line and grace of movement that accompanies his/her desired style of dance. City Center Dance students have and continue to perform at renowned venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, Purchase College, Aaron Davis Hall and for the elite DanceFest at the Stamford Center for the Arts. Our charitable causes include Dancers Responding to AIDS, the Arthritis Foundation, the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association and of course National Dance Week. Our students also perform year-round in many community based and school-sponsored events including performances for NY Presbyterian Hospital, the Osborn Nursing Home, Blythdale Children's Hospital, and the White Plains Beautification Foundation. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in having us perform at your event (914) 328-1881.
