Studio Mission
Since it's inception in 2002, City Center Dance has excelled in providing professional quality instruction for all students.  Our goal is to provide each student with the best possible instruction regardless of whether you are dancing for fun or for a profession.  Each student is just as important.  Each dancer is here to learn and to dance to the best of her/his ability.  Our job is to foster that passion.  The staff here recognizes that each student is an individual and tries to pinpoint each dancers needs.  That is why we have LIMITED CLASS ENROLLMENT.  In most cases the class sizes are limited to no more than 18 students (for our 3-5 year olds class size is limited to 12).  This enables us to give more time and attention to each dancer and supply them with the necessary tools they need to achieve their goals.

The Studio
City Center Dance is located at 236 East Post Road, right in the heart of White Plains! We offer dance for children and adults in a variety of genres including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Break Dancing, BOYS only classes, Creative Movement and more. We also host Birthday Parties for children and a variety of special events, workshops and performances both in the community and our state-of-the-art facility.  As a matter of fact, your children may have already been in one of our many school programs if they attend George Washington, Mamaroneck Avenue, Preston, Parsons, Central, Chatsworth, or Murray Avenue elementary schools. Or in our middle and high school programs in White Plains, Harrison, Blind Brook, Fox Lane, Eastchester, and Briarcliff.

The Facility
City Center Dance has four full size professional studios, two with marly floors and two with oak. Each studio has sprung floors, viewing windows, wall mounted barres, and floor to ceiling mirrors. We also have a large lobby area perfect for families! We also have a DANCE BOUTIQUE on the premises for all of your dance wear needs!  We are easily accessible from the major highways, and are located at street level for easy drop-off and pick-up. There is street parking available and two municipal parking lots directly across the street.

The School
Now in it's eighth season, City Center Dance has grown into one of the top dance facilities in Westchester County. Professionalism, quality instruction and dedication to our students are our top priorities. Whether you are in it because you live it or love it, all students will learn the technique, terminology, placement, line and grace of movement that accompanies his/her desired style of dance. City Center Dance students have and continue to perform at renowned venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, Purchase College, Aaron Davis Hall and for the elite DanceFest at the Stamford Center for the Arts. Our charitable causes include Dancers Responding to AIDS, the Arthritis Foundation, the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association and of course National Dance Week. Our students also perform year-round in many community based and school-sponsored events including performances for NY Presbyterian Hospital, the Osborn Nursing Home, Blythdale Children's Hospital, and the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
